Seasons of Play

Ages: 16 months – 24months
Class duration: 1.5 hours 30 minutes per curriculum area
Fall: Mondays 2:00 – 3:30

Each season has its own wonder and beauty – mystery and surprises. We invite you and your little one to an immersive, multi-sensory seasonal experience – Come sing, learn, explore and create each season. Every class includes the following:

Nature and Art:

The beauty of birds, leaves, flowers and trees are captured and shared in age appropriate exploration activities for your little one. They will use all of their senses to experience the wonder and even hidden secrets that the natural world contains. Discover together and then create through nature based art projects.

Montessori Exploration:

Give your child the early learning experience of a Montessori classroom. Guide them in beginning literacy, numeracy, sensorial, and social emotional education. Encourage their love for learning, and strengthen their curiosity through a variety of hands-on activities and materials. Together you can can learn and grow through the cycles of the seasons, in an environment based on Montessori principles that provide solid learning foundations.

Music and Movement:

Each season has its own rhythms and sounds that we can play with and enjoy through music and movement. We will sing, play instruments and explore seasonal sounds through natural materials and instruments. We will create with our bodies and voices through music, dance, and stories.
